1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Verdict, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Verdict is
Verdict is a software service that uses artificial intelligence to analyze documents you submit and return a structured analysis. That analysis typically includes a summary verdict, identification of potential concerns or clauses worth attention, and suggested next steps.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Verdict. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
4. Account and access
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@getverdict.net if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Subscriptions and payment
- Verdict offers a free Starter tier (3 verdicts per month) and a paid Pro tier ($29 per month for unlimited use).
- The first 100 sign-ups are eligible for founder pricing of $9 per month on Pro, which remains active for as long as the subscription is continuously maintained.
- If a founder-priced subscription is canceled, the founder rate cannot be reactivated. Resubscribing returns the account to the standard $29 per month rate.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account page.
- No refunds for partial billing periods. You retain access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card details.

7. Intellectual property

- We retain all rights to the Verdict software, brand, design, and underlying analytical methodology.
- Verdicts produced for your account are licensed to you for personal or business use, including sharing them with third parties such as attorneys, counterparties, or collaborators.
8. Disclaimers

You acknowledge that AI-generated analysis is inherently probabilistic and may produce inaccurate results. You are responsible for verifying the output and exercising independent judgment, including consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Verdict, its operators, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
